We’re in the process of testing and fixing bugs, so please keep it to yourself for now. If you have any feedback or comments, we would be over the moon to hear them!
Long-time clients and long-time friends who excel in the music industry needed an identity boost back in the day and, most recently, their logo and website uplift that would help match their digital presence to their both extensive experience and the new services they now offer.
Most of our clients over time become our long-term partners and even more importantly - friends, but with the Bassivity that connection is different and special. Bassivity was founded in 1999 in Belgrade, Serbia, as the first label in the Balkans primarily focused on the rap and R&B scene. The influence it had on the youth in the region went beyond just being another cool music for youngsters to listen to at parties. Bassivity music actually helped develop a whole new culture in the former Yugoslavian states, connecting and uniting people through music.
In 2010, I Ne - Nenad, received a call from Bassivity with an opportunity to join and help develop a new Bassivity identity suitable for the digital age, social media, and streaming platforms. The first project involved redesigning the original Bassivity Music logo from 2002 and creating a new Bassivity Digital logo. Redesigned and elevated version is still in use today and remains one of the most recognisable signs in the entertainment industry in the Balkans and widely across Europe.
Thirteen years later, Bassivity approached us to help them refine their identity and strengthen their digital presence. While music production and publishing remain at their core, Bassivity has expanded into new areas such as film production, talent management, and advertising and marketing consulting. We optimized the digital logo, simplified it, and made it more versatile, recognizable, and easier to integrate.
In 1999, Bassivity was founded, but its first studio albums (Oneya’s Mixtape and V.I.P. - Ekipa stigla) were not released until 2002. As a result, Bassivity celebrated its 20th birthday in 2022, which presented a great opportunity for extensive marketing campaigns. The celebration began with the adoption of a new logo and the creation of a new mark to commemorate the occasion. It was also a great chance to test new brand guidelines in real-world scenarios. Various assets were created to showcase how the brand would function. One example is the remastering of classic Bassivity albums and releasing them on vinyl.
The new visual identity and its sub-brands should be applicable across various formats, including traditional outdoor and print campaigns, as well as digital formats. To achieve this, we developed numerous scenarios to precisely define how the visual guidelines should be incorporated.
The updated brand has already been launched, and you can see it out in the world. Pudding designed and developed Bassivity's new website, providing a real-life scenario to test the brand guidelines and see how everything fits together. As we said, Bassivity is more than just a client to us; our collaboration is ongoing, and we are constantly fine-tuning and developing new assets. We hope to share more in the future, but until then, we hope you will enjoy the new content coming from the Bassivity group.

Even though we might collaborate remotely, the time zone difference should not be a concern as we are available for calls at any time. If a face-to-face meeting is required, we can travel, but we would also be delighted to welcome you to our studio.
