Playing games from the 80s and 90s is easily achievable these days, thanks to official game ports to modern systems, virtual consoles, emulators, and various other methods. However, these games were not originally designed for modern screens, aspect ratios, refresh rates, and input latencies. To recapture the magic of weekend mornings from the 90s, we’ve created what we internally call a 4:3 stack. At the heart of the system are the MiSTer FPGA and a Sony Trinitron CRT, connected with SCART 🙌 🇪🇺 🙌 RGBs to enjoy those classic fat and bold scanlines.
